Teachers are always finding new books to incorporate into the classroom for fun reads! However, some book are always included since they are well-loved and classics! Today we will outline the books to comprise an accurate classroom reading plan!

First Grade
  • The World Belonged to Us – A book celebrating freedom and adventure, this book includes diversity, playfulness, and the ease of childhood while teaching students imaginative and creative thinking.
  • Blue Sky White Stars – A poetry book full of inspiration, diversity, camaraderie, and joy over the American people.

Second Grade
  • Charlotte’s Web – A great book about friendship, sacrifice, and encouragement. This book is moving and educational at once.

  • Duck for President – A funny escape from some more serious books. This book is a fun, easy read for young readers to re-introduce some comedic relief into their reading experience.

Third Grade
  • Paddington – One of the most classic books on the list, this book introduces adventure, experience, and love all in one.
